Natural Leather Characteristics
Our products are made from full grain, vegetable-tanned leather. As a natural material, each hide carries its own grain structure, growth marks, and subtle colour variation. These are inherent characteristics of genuine leather. They are not manufacturing defects and each item should be understood to be a one-of-a-kind piece. Such natural variation does not constitute grounds for a claim under the right of withdrawal, return, or complaint described below.
Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return)
If you are a consumer shopping from Denmark, Sweden, or the Netherlands, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). If you are shopping from Norway, an equivalent 14-day right of withdrawal applies under the Norwegian Right of Cancellation Act (angrerettloven).
8.1 How to Withdraw
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us by email within the 14-day period, stating your order number and your intention to return the item. You may use the return instructions we provide, or any other clear statement of your decision to withdraw.
8.2 Condition of Returned Goods
The item must be returned in substantially the same condition as received: unused, undamaged, and with all original tags, dustbag, and packaging included where possible. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and function of the item.
8.3 Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
8.4 Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will refund the purchase price (including the original standard delivery cost, where applicable) to your original payment method within 14 days. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
Exceptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to items that have been custom-made, personalised, or clearly used beyond inspection.
Warranty and Complaints (Reklamationsret)
As a Danish company, we provide a statutory right to complain ("reklamationsret") for 24 months from the date of delivery, in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act and equivalent EU consumer protection rules applicable in Sweden and the Netherlands, and the Norwegian Sale of Goods Act (kjøpsloven/forbrukerkjøpsloven) for customers in Norway. This covers defects that were present at the time of delivery, including material or manufacturing faults.
This right does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, lack of care, or the natural characteristics of full grain leather described in Section 4.
To make a complaint, contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where relevant. We will respond and advise on next steps, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
